Over the past 30 years, Herbalife has grown so much that the question, “Does Herbalife Work?” has become a very common and practical question to ask!

Having been around MLM’s for a little while now, I’ve heard many stories of dissatisfied retail customers of popular health and wellness companies.  But, I’ve never heard any from Herbalife…  So, does Herbalife work?

Based on my experience, I would say yes, but let’s delve a little deeper into their products and also the business side of this industry giant.

Does Herbalife Work? A Product Evaluation

Herbalife has a little bit of everything when it comes to health and wellness.  However, maybe their most popular are their Weight Management Products.

The first thing that caught my eye while looking over their website is their weight management program that personalizes a weight loss strategy to your specific body type.  It’s not just a “one size fits all” solution, but rather optimized to your personal needs.  I haven’t seen this with other MLM weight loss products, so I must say that I was impressed.

Then, I did a little Google research to find some testimonials (of course the testimonials on the Herbalife website would positive and dripping with amazingness).

I found dozens upon dozens of people who have had success with Herbalife, and hardly a negative thing to be found.  Of course, there are a scant few negative comments because somebody likes to stand out, but they were much less prominent than with other MLM product testimonials.

Herbalife’s other products fall under Energy & Fitness, Targeted Nutrition, and Personal Care.  And, much like the weight loss products, there wasn’t much negativity to be found.

One lady even said that her Chronic Fatigue Syndrome no longer presented symptoms in her life after using Herbalife’s health products.

Does Herbalife work?  To me, the evidence is overwhelming that the products are effective.  But, possibly the biggest indicator of how good the products are is simply the massive growth and longevity of Herbalife.

Does Herbalife Work? A Business Evaluation

Herbalife has over 2 million distributors in 75 countries.  Last year, they did $4.3 billion in retail sales (so yes, their products work).  They’ve been around since 1980 and they’re still growing fast.

Honestly, those figures are the only things you need to know about Herbalife to know that it works.  Obviously, the company is easy to promote or else they wouldn’t have so many distributors.  And, because they’ve expanded into so many countries, there is still plenty of room for expansion.

Their CEO and Chairman is Michael Johnson.  In the last 7 years, he has doubled sales.  Before he worked with Herbalife, he was the President of Disney International… so he, um, knows what he’s doing!

Does Herbalife work as a business venture?  With their hugely successful run over the past 30 years, it’s impossible to say it’s not a good opportunity.

However, the problem with ANY MLM company is knowing how to market.

A lot of people see the incredible earning potential (or like the products) and join on the spot.  They invite all their friends and family to join, and they get maybe 1-2 sign-ups.  It’s now two weeks later and they have no clue how to get more sales and more sign-ups.

Before you join an MLM, or go any further with your current one, you need a plan on how to get more prospects and leads coming into your business on a regular basis.
