4 Strategies to Get Your Team to Build Your MLM Fast
There are way too many non-committed, wishy-washy people filling out this industry. In fact, many of them could be the next MLM superstar if they only put their minds to it!
I’m going to show you how to avoid having a team full of “hobbyists” and get them to dive in with both feet into the MLM world.
I’ve seen (and closely worked with) a surprising amount of marketers that are in this as a hobby.
But how does that make sense? I guarantee that anyone who’s come on board this industry with a “wait and see” attitude has failed.
If you were opening the doors to a restaurant tomorrow, would you avoid real work and be afraid to spend money and time? Or would you be as hands-on as possible in everything that’s going on, working yourself to exhaustion trying to make a steady profit?
I know in my team, I’m looking for marketers who can grab hold of a vision, plaster it all over the place, and work until they succeed.
Of course, that’s a little easier said than done, right?
So… here’s what you can do:
4 Strategies For Building a Committed Team
#1. Sell Them Something Cheap
One of the biggest misleadings (that I totally fell for…) is that you should give away nigh on everything for free… and only occasionally sell stuff!
Ok, you might not believe that, but hear me out…
On my computer, I have dozens of free courses that I’ve downloaded that I’ve never even cracked. As I surf around all day, I download them with wild abandon… but then I completely forget about them and even which folders I save them in.
On the other hand, I’ve devoured every product that I’ve ever paid for.
So, by selling stuff to your team (even if it’s only like $10), they’ll be likely to read it because it wasn’t free. Plus, when people buy your stuff, it creates a more intimate connection. They’re more attatched to you then they’ve ever been before.
And, they won’t be so lazy about working with you
#2. Give Assignments
I love this one because it embodies what a leader should do with his team. In fact, this is one of the most profitable activities possible in our industry!
From the very beginning, in that initial contact with a prospect or new team member, you should already be telling them what to do. Get them used to being coached by you.
When you give out homework, they’ll not only grow faster because they’re learning how to build their biz, but they’ll also latch onto you (especially when they start seeing results). They’ll be more committed to the the industry, and more importantly, to you.
#3. Go to Live Events
Live events are where visions and goals are elevated. At live events your team is able to hang out with the top earners in your company, and have first-hand evidence that the “big numbers” are achievable.
They’ll get excited about what they can accomplish and also see the lifestyle that others provide for themselves and their families.
If that doesn’t get them more committed to working hard in MLM, then they just might be a lost cause!
#4. Become a Fanatical Book Reader
In my own marketing, I become MOST excited when I learn new ways to take my business to the next level. Usually that happens when I’m neck-deep in a training course.
For example, I’ve been plowing through a lot of Mark Hoverson’s products (absolutely killer, by the way) and my mind literally hasn’t stopped buzzing. I can’t stop thinking of new ways to improve my business. That gets me excited!
Now, teach that to your team. Teach them the importance of learning and training (of course in combination with actual work), and even tell your team which books and courses have helped you the most.
You’ll be able to help them get motivated, raise their visions, and they’ll begin to form new ideas of how to grow their business in new and exciting ways (whether they begin to do this consciously or subconsciously).
How else have you been able to create commitment within your team? Tell me about it below!
Then… share this with your team if you found this useful.
Thanks for visiting!

True that Paul! Learning how to sponsor and building your team first is essential. All the other stuff that you need to learn comes with time.
